The Community

Phil Clark receives a ton of accolades for someone who does not advertise at all. In fact, Phil doesn't talk about himself -- and especially his accomplishments. Some call it humility -- we're not sure. We do know that he is a great guy, with a wealth of knowledge, and a moral code that is eerily sound. Sometimes, it can even be viewed as a disservice to the community to be unaware of his expertise. Keep this in mind as we discuss some of the ways Phil and The Training Station hope to help out. We're very serious when we write: we're trying super hard not to brag. Click on his biography for more.

No Runner Left Behind

NRLB is classic Phil Clark. Phil, the owner of The Training Station and Run Shoe Store takes health more seriously than most.

Phil's sport of choice is track & field. He understands the "runner mentality." NRLB promotes health activity even when it is seemingly impossible. Snowy days, closed gyms, and other conditions can prevent those who rely on their runs for their own well-being to maintain a healthy lifestyle -- even if it's just a few days a month. For this reason, Phil is reaching out to running communities in the area and offering The Training Station as an easily accessible and affordable alternative to, well, not running.

NRLB is in session!

Youth and Social Advocacy

Phil worked part-time to pay for his high school education. He was admitted to Yale. There, he excelled not only academically, but in track and field. Phil was invited to to train with a group of World-class athletes aiming for admittance to the Olympics. His name still appeards in "All-Time Record" lists.

Phil is now a successful local business owner. He created, owns, and manages The Training Station & Run Shoe Store. Daily he helps locals -- especially those with injury or pain -- find a sneaker that will get them back to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Phil understands that even when things seem futile, to keep your head up. To take a more active role in the community and serve as a role model to our youth, Phil is planning to announce a multitude of scholarships, training, and instruction aimed at bettering our community's youth.
